A family of five stands together outdoors in front of autumn leaves, reminiscent of Esko, MN's charm. The parents smile behind their three young boys, who are dressed in casual sweaters and jeans. The vibrant fall foliage provides a colorful backdrop, like the rich hues of pure maple syrup.

First, there was the land and the trees. Then there was us. And then it was home.

Quiet, peaceful acres of maple trees were soon flooded with little footprints in the snow, laughter, and taps being hammered into trees. Nestled alongside beautiful Jay Cooke State Park, our maple farm has become our family’s favorite place. Faithful trees that provide shade in summer, a brilliant display of color in the fall, and then come alive with sweet sap in the spring have us in awe of what they can produce. Our three little boys think it’s magic – and honestly, so do we!

The Norwegian name is a nod to our heritage, the image of our family tree that grows and changes with time, and our sincere love for the trees themselves. Rooted in strong values, our homestead is proud to produce a syrup worth savoring in all seasons.
